Ruby on Rails is a web framework that allows developers to quickly create applications. Ruby on rails is the ultimate plan to create oi app. The reason is because of its power to create complex applications. ROR has been used by many startups to name a few Twitter and Shopify.
The oi app team is planning to start the development process using rails once the test application that we are creating its done. In a few months the development will start. Nevertheless, a team member is in the process of creating the oi system using rails just a test so that we can get to have a feel of it (oops I think I have spilled the beans).

Deploying apps has been made a lot easier by the services provided by companies such as Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Heroku e.t.c. This also reduces the cost of putting an app in production since there’s no purchase of hardware.
Dev ops help both the development team and other teams in a company to work harmoniously together.
