The use of Gaming mechanics is one example of the sophistication that this community will eventually have embedded in its website. It intent is to primarily to increase users engagement and keep their interest. The more people engage the more people will be collaborating, sharing and developing solutions. Eventually the collimation of this, helping make the world a better place, will be tracked by Algorithms and awarded users a type of points that will eventually find a value of some sort.

Some potential key points of using game mechanics:

Implement rankings and leader boards. We need to show our status and rank ourselves against each other. Competition is healthy.
Ensure everyone can competitively collect something. You will never match Michael’s online time, but you might win more bets than him, or gain more thumbs up. You can certainly give more.
Introductions game mechanics slowly. SK-Gaming didn’t introduce all these features at once. They introduced them slowly, giving each a chance to gain attention and achieve prominence.
Let members show which features they like. The only stumbling block is all these features are permanently on show. Let members decide which features they would like to show on their page.

HR Dept

Sheri scott explains that the human resources department handles a range of different functions within an organization. Huruma Village Initiative

Huruma village aims to create opportunities with the help of a community collaboration consisting of YALI, KFIC and the Zero Waste Initiate.
Often referred to as Huruma Slums it is the goal to change the perception of this village by empowering its residents to utilize the resources it has to develope their knowledge and skills in the areas of horticulture, bamboo, waste management, and many other areas that will make the perception of the community feel much more self sustaining and vibrant.
