Idea (what): This project is to create a team of editors to assist in making sure TUC’s message is clear and well written. It will more into the Editors Circle (a network) which will be broken up into a collection of smaller projects both internal and external to the building of TUC as a company and collaborative community.

Purpose (why): This project is the first formal attempt at getting TUC organized with the assistance of folks who are wordsmiths and content creatures.

Strategy (how): Starting with using a manual process in Google Docs, editing is currently a voluntary effort, requiring only your spare time, with no formal deadlines or expectations in place Eventually you will know if you are having fun and want to continue in a more formal role as a Producer, Direct, Advisor, Lead or in other capacities, not yet listed. (As with everything in TUC, please feel free to include others)

Action Plan (when) At this point editors are only acting as common members as are with all members. No expectations – engage when you can. This will carry into a decentralized organization structure (explained later) with more formal roles, teams and goals.

If you are not drawn to engage, this particular project or network may not be what you are looking for or worst case senerio  we have not yet accomplished our goal of exciting your senses or gaining your trust.

Confusion is TUC’s greatest risk to not engaging users, which is why the Editors Circle is the first Network being launched.

Putting this into words it best left to the experts. As with all aspects of this business venture, we acknowledge that their are highly qualified individuals looking for their next big project, that are experts in their fields that would guide our commmunity to the next level.

With our intent to start this company completely transparent and online, you will not find a lot of financial data, proformas, budgets, of any other financial documents because it is our intent to promote a member of our community to lead the way if our current members have not already developed the financial plannning necessary to execute this online community.

Objectives

In the beginning we are going to build a website that fosters collaboration
a community organizing tool that engages the global community. By partnering with the best in class organizations and engaging those further from the epicenter of the experts, we intend to expose the world to solutions and a new way of approaching global problems.
As first step the platform will provide simple user friendly interface that engages people from all around the world on their own time
on their own terms
each choosing which project (personal or public) they want to engage in. On solving some of the world’s smallest problems such as communications
efficiency
and sustainability we aim to build this Ultimate Collaboration with pooled resources focusing first on the underutilized resources and unwanted items and put them to use. Resources such as global refuge, food waste, underprivileged community members, unengaged community members, unallocated funds, etc, etc…….
Embracing transparancy together we will work out the inevitable kinks, exposing members to the process, challenges and successes, with the goal of uniting our members and empowering them to engage. Knowing that it has no limits, this forward thinking project is based on organizing resources to solve local and global challenges.

As we engage a greater number of members globally, we will begin to understand and organize the existing organizations, currently attempting to solving larger challenges. The challenges we face on any level can be solved easier be polling resources. This increase in efficiently will help reduce starting from scratch and the duplication of efforts.

In changing the paradigm of thinking we can stop trying to reinvent the wheel when comes to providing for our children’s basic human rights and the sustainability for future generations.

FIRST PHASE OBJECTIVES: focus on developing our online community, a user friendly all inclusive platform, the task management system and the communication tools.
SECOND PHASE OBJECTIVES: focus on developing our initiatives, network systems
and our partner community.

With each new member we will take time to get it right and insure that all of our vision, mission, core values………are clear, and adopted. These are what guide our daily actions and decisions and show by example that there is a more sustainable way. We as a unified community will determine who and how to address some of the larger problems troubling our global community. Helping to change the paradigm of thinking is an audacious goal that our community members will indirectly impact with each engagement. A New Norm of global sustainability is just generations away. The sooner we inventory the resources, organize the opportunities, list sustainable alternatives, we can begin to see the benefits of The Ultimate Collaboration. Applying our pooled resources to such challenges as basic opportunity, poverty, Air pollution, water quality, health care, humanitarian issues and global systemic problems such as suicide and other tougher issues, we will have a direct impact on changing the paradigm of thinking, being, and acting………..

we can enjoy this better world.

Our project is intentionally reaching for the stars with an audacious Goal. The audacious goal of creating The Ultimate Collaboration to increase sustainability for further generations, by reducing unessassry waste and creating systems for pooling resource to increase the efficiency of solving global problems.

By deliberately and intentionally starting simple intend to manage expectations and develop systems and guidelines to create unity among our members and engage users/ members in every aspect of executing our Goal.

With our primary tag line being “OPPORTUNITY IS A HUMAN RIGHT” we are NOT In any way, ignoring the fact that “Cash is King”. Nothing happens without working capital, but their are so many other resources that, if made available, will create opportunity, success and I turn generate working capital. Many underutilized resources are critical to our projects and our online communities success. Many are often contegorized as waste, are sitting idle or are in in useless small quantities. Through the development of Invovative distribution channels, via our online community, we can reduce waste on every level. Some over looked resources which could be the specific piece of the puzzle that makes a project successful.

As Shakespeare Said “IT IS ALL ONE” Projects whether big or small, home improvements, community focused, or businesses, have simliarieties and needs. With the right systems in place, and over time we can save trillions of dollars, reduce unnessassary waste while strengthening the sustainability and success of our communities, businesses and global economies.

Sometimes doing small things are what matter most. Most of us are familiar with ideas like: Doing one kind thing for a stranger, or picking up one piece of trash each day. We aim to automate these acts of kindness and use it to create opportunities. In our online community, just buying the team a cup of coffee can turn an otherwise difficult day into a productive and enjoyable day. If the team you would like to support (engage with) is on the other side of the world, we will make it easy to engage and give them a few minutes of you time. What takes one person five hours may take someone else a few minutes. Engaging in a projects will be easy empowering you to help them with a challenging issue a project may be having saving them time, possible stress giving them the encouragement and energy to continue to the next task.

Donations can be in the form of information, helping hand, material goods or unwanted items. Simply put donations can be anything that will help. To make it easier to engage and contribute, when and how is our main priority.

Our online community will also make it easier to see waste in all its forms, explain how it can be a valuable resource, and help provide secure distribution networks for putting these underutilized resources to use.

The GEO-6 Regional Assessment for Africa points out that the environment is deteriorating faster than previously thought, emphasizing that governments must act faster to reverse the worst trends. The report recognizes Africa’s natural capital and observes that the economic growth of Africa hinges on the sustainable management of its natural capital. However, unsustainable exploitation of Africa’s natural resources by its burgeoning population, and the tardiness by authorities to effect sound policies and regulations to tame abuse and over exploitation of these resources is brewing trouble. Nature is issuing red alerts, as evidenced by the many catastrophes we are experiencing which if left unchecked, will keep aggravating food shortages, water scarcity, diseases, conflicts, migration and poverty, all of which could culminate in the destabilization of economies.

Towards sustainable development in Africa

In order for Africa to reap the economic and social benefits inherent in this natural wealth, it is necessary to urgently address such issues as the management, economic and environmental impact of their sustainable use.

Africa Office supports African governments to translate decisions and statements made on natural resources into practical actions and innovative solutions at regional, national and local levels for the benefit of their population. This will lead to wealth and job creation, revenue generation, food security, social equity and a healthy environment.
